This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at the Shiley Pavilion in Torrey Pines.

What you’ll do:
- Familiarity with oncology and cardiac patients.
- Performs stress tests.
- Proficient in IV skills & familiarity with port access.
- Perform patient assessments and care tasks, procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
- Educate patients and documents patient interactions.
- Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This position is eligible for up to $4k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $3k if moving from 100+ miles away.
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required:
- Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN
- Current California RN License
- American Heart Association BLS for the Health Care Provider
- American Heart Association ACLS for the Health Care Provider
- Must have rapid patient assessment skills and critical thinking skills
- Must be patient centered, flexible and team oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience with PET and Nuclear imaging, Stress Testing and/or Cardiac Imaging
- BSN
