The Scripps Health Emergency Nursing Transition Program facilitates the transition of experienced RNs and New Grads with varied clinical backgrounds to an advanced beginner Emergency (ED/ER) Nurse. • Lectures that generalize the didactic to the bedside
  • Hands-on skills and simulation learning
  • Clinical orientation with trained preceptors in the Emergency Departments across the system

At the end of the program, trainees will transition to a full-time position on their unit. Additionally, trainees should expect to work the night shift on their unit after the completion of the program unless otherwise specified by the hiring leader.
