Job Description

This position includes a Bonus of $15,000 and a Relocation Incentive of $3,000 to eligible new hires. It is a Full time, benefited Lead IR Tech role at our magnet recognized La Jolla Memorial hospital. The shift is 10 hours with the ability to take week night and weekend call shifts.

Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and Pl activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire Interventional Radiology department. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in IR department.

•    Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

  • CRT
  • Fluoro
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography
  •  3 years of interventional radiology experience is strongly preferred.
  • leadership experience is preferred
  •  Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Position Pay Range: $62.80-$91.07/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
