Job Description
This is a benefited, part time (40 hours every two weeks) position working generally Saturday and Sunday from 7AM to 3:30PM and one weekend TBD from 7AM to 3:30PM. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

We invite you to join our Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla as an EKG Technician. As an EKG Technician you will be responsible for performing technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient, including emergency procedures as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control. Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG’s
- 4-6 months experience performing Stress Testing.
- Basic EKG training is required
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current BLS from American Heart Association required.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- National EKG Registry is preferred
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
