The Center for Learning and Innovation (CFLI) supports Scripps admin staff in obtaining the knowledge and skills required to be effective in today’s rapidly changing health care environment. CFLI programs focus on equipping staff to continuously grow and develop into their career paths.
Leadership Orientation
Leadership Orientation is a six-month program designed to provide new Scripps leaders (Supervisor through Sr. Director with direct reports) with the critical tools and resources necessary to quickly be effective in their role. Topics include performance expectations of all Scripps leaders, corporate finance, patient experience, and ensuring an ethical and compliant department. Online learning resources provide the new leader with “on-demand” information and resources to effectively manage the organization’s human resources.
Ongoing Leadership Development
Leaders create individual leadership development plans that guide them to targeted learning and development opportunities. Both new and experienced leaders have the opportunity to select from a wide variety of courses that provide the knowledge, tools, and resources for success.

Provides a collaborative environment with our CEO and Sr. leaders where you can ask questions, give feedback into programs, give input into process improvements, learn how the Scripps values impact business decisions, and about the business of caring for patients from a systems perspective.
