RN – Endoscopy – Casual status – La Jolla

This is a Casual status also known as Per Diem RN position located at Scripps Memorial La Jolla in the brand new north tower. The shift is a 8 hour day shift and the start time would fall between 0630-0900 and vary throughout the week. There is call rotation weekday/weekend/holiday call, and overnight call. In a 4 week schedule period, casual employees are required to work once per week with 2 call shifts per schedule period. Additional call is available if you want more shifts. For the training period 2-3 shifts per week would be ideal, but we are flexible with availability.

Responsibilities include: provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
