Job Description

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: ADN or Nursing Diploma CA RN license and American Heart Association BLS required in clinical setting. For Hematology Oncology and Cancer Treatment Room: ONS is required within 6 months of date of hire. For Rheumatology Infusion: ONS is required. For all ASC and Cardiology departments, Minor Surgery, Urgent Care, Gastroenterology, and the Dean Ornish Program: American Heart Association ACLS is required. For Urgent Care: American Heart Association PALS is required.

Required Certification/Registration:

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: BSN, At least 1 year of RN experience

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
