This is a full time, benefited position generally working 10-hour day shifts from 7am-5:30pm four days/week (weekdays only). Scheduling can be discussed during interview. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. Ability to travel to Mission Valley on occasion preferred.

- Primary care (family medicine and internal medicine)
- Specialty care (including cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, and pulmonary medicine)
- Imaging services; Blood tests and labs
- On-site vascular lab to test for vascular disorders
- Cardiac testing, including echocardiograms and exercise stress tests
- Outpatient cardiac catheterization procedures and Vascular surgery and vein treatment
What you’ll do:

Responsible for managing high volume workflow.

The majority of your job will be telephone triage and in-basket management to include education for cardiology patients, conducting patient assessments, performing care tasks and working prior authorizations for many specialty drugs.

Case management.

Duties include administering IV medications during clinic visits, administering ultrasound contrast agents during echocardiograms, performing tilt table tests on patients with suspected POTS.
Required:
- Minimum one (1) year RN experience
- Current California RN License
- BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
- Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program
Preferred:
- Strong Cardiology background
- RN experience in Case Management
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting
- RN experience in a cardiac (telemetry) setting
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing BSN
