We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Job Description

Through involvement in clinical consultation and direct patient care, assesses and improves the patient care process for a defined population along the continuum of care; serving as an expert clinical resource for ensuring quality of care and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that evidence-based practice is implemented and understood by staff. Serves as a link integrating relevant research, best practice and clinical delivery processes. Provides expertise in a defined population of nursing to facilitate the development of quality, cost-effective services. Fosters the advancement of nursing practice.
Experience/Specialized Skills:Five years recent acute care experience with demonstrated leadership experience required. Minimum one year experience with the assigned patient population. Ability to speak Spanish recommended.

Required Certification/Registration:Current California RN License. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification required. Current ACLS certification required. Maintains medical staff credentialing as an allied health professional.

Required Education/Course(s)/Training: Nurse Practitioner credential required. NP in area of clinical specialization preferred.

Position Pay Range: $72.71-$105.41/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
