Job Description
This is a benefited, full time position (64 hours every 2 weeks) working 8-hr shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with varied start times. No weekends or holidays. Located at Scripps Clinic Encinitas.

What you’ll do:
- The majority of this position is working in Epic, inbasket messaging and triaging, but will also place IVs for Definity and perform stress echocardiograms.
- Demonstrate compassionate care during patient assessments and care tasks, including medication administration as appropriate, all completed over the phone (phone triaging and education).
- Work the inbaskets/messages for the entire shift.
- Learn about cardiac devices, stress tests, triaging, and read device alerts.
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provide patient care including:
- compliance with patient assessments and care tasks
- triaging
- completion of clinical procedures
- emergency protocols and medication administration
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
