This is a full time, salaried position. Includes $10k retention incentive and $8k relocation assistance for eligible new hires. Eligible to participate in the Directors Incentive Compensation Plan.

Oncology is a rapidly growing division within ambulatory services at Scripps Health, with infusion pharmacies located throughout San Diego County, in Hillcrest, Torrey Pines, Rancho Bernardo, Oceanside and Encinitas. The Pharmacy Director is responsible for the provision of the overall administration, operation, direction, design, financial performance, human resource management, regulatory compliance, quality, utilization management, marketing, integration and evaluation of infusion pharmacies. This is a unique position that includes operational responsibilities as well as the opportunity to lead a team of clinical pharmacists. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in oncology and confident in working with physician leaders.

  • Internal candidates
  • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
  • Candidates with less than 1 year of experience

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  • Must remain in original Job Title
  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter. 

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

·        Graduate degree

·        8 years experience, 3 of which in a leadership role


Required Certification/Registration:

·        Current California Registered Pharmacist


 

Position Pay Range: $98.60-$143.24/hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
