Job Description
Primary location: Carlsbad, CA. The Director is responsible for leading the daily operations of outpatient practices, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, service quality, and exceptional patient and provider experiences across the medical group. This role provides strategic leadership for the growth and development, establishing standardized processes, best practices, and consistent care delivery across all locations. In partnership with leadership, the Director oversees business planning, operational performance, physician practice support, and the development of managers, supervisors, and staff to drive productivity, quality outcomes, and customer service. Operating in a dyad leadership model with the Regional Medical Director for Pediatrics, this position is accountable for aligning clinical and operational strategies to achieve organizational goals, support service line growth, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Four years of direct management experience in the healthcare industry. Ability to effectively direct healthcare business and operational practices. Ability to develop long-term plans for healthcare operations. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems.
Required Certification/Registration:
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree and specific skills/experience in Pediatrics is preferred.
