This team partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist’s respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Performs competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools. Demonstrates age specific care as established for area and job title.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Requirements:
- Licensed or Pending license as a Speech Language Pathologist in California
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
- Certificate or Pending Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) by ASHA.
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year of Acute Care experience
- Proficient at conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
