Job Description
Full Time, benefited RCP position on night shift with the SSRS Float pool team.
In collaboration with other caregivers, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates action for respiratory care. Performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care. Performs other core responsibilities to maintain the flow of patient care. May provide additional patient care within their scope of practice as permitted by licensure, certificate or training. Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in quality control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.
Experience/Specialized Skills:Prefer one or more years acute care experience. Excellent interpersonal skills. Enjoys working with the public. Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English. Technically competent inthe department skills inventory. Computer literate.
Required Certification/Registration: Current California RCP license required. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training: Graduate of one or two year AMA School of Respiratory Care preferred.
