Job Description
This is a Full Time, benefited OR RN position working a varied shift (630am-1700) Monday – Friday. No holidays, weekends or Call. It is located at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (Outpatient) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

With 444 licensed beds, we offer a wide range of clinical, surgical and specialty services, including a Level I Trauma Center. Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

· Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
· Must remain in original department/specialty
· Must remain in original Job Title
· Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required
- One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- 2 or more years in an ASC
- scrub experience
