Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista provides a variety of medical and surgical services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Within the hospital you’ll find our 24-hour emergency room and many other specialty services ranging from cancer care to stroke care.

Job Description

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position for a varied shift located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

The Supervisor, Patient Logistics/Lift Team provides assistance to the Healthcare team in performing complex patient lifts, transfers and positioning of patients as well as patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in house. Responsible for scheduling daily assignments, orientation and education of personnel assigned. Problem solving of day-to-day issues as well as promoting team work. Ensures compliance with Scripps policies and other regulatory standards.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Associates degree plus 2 experience in a health related field, plus 2 years supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and related training/experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with computers to include data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow directions in English. 

Required Certification/Registration:

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Bachelors degree.

Position Pay Range: $28.57-$40.28/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
