Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

Job Description

This is a Casual position (per diem) with a 12-hour varied day shift, requiring flexibility throughout the week and weekend, and participation in on-call rotation. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.

Required Qualifications:

        Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association

        Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or a minimum of six months of recent experience in an Interventional Cath Lab.

        Technical competence in aspects of patient monitoring, diagnostic/therapeutic Cardiovascular Technology.

        Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

        RCIS and /or RCES

        Scrub, circulate, and monitor in EP and Cath Lab experience

        Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation

Position Pay Range: $47.43-$68.89/hour

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
