Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an outpatient patient care unit or departments, including financial and operational performance, service excellence and internal communications. Works with the management staff of the practice unit and departments to coordinate strategic planning of business units and the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices and non-physician staff. Provides leadership and direction to managers, supervisors and leads to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes and internal and external customer service.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:Associate’s degree plus five years applicable clinical management experience. Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through. Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care. Graduate of an accredited program. Applicable experience in a healthcare environment and three years of leadership experience. Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other applicable systems.

Required Certification/Registration:Maintains current California RN license. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and all competencies/certifications required of the charge RN on the unit.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or MSN. Certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.

Position Pay Range: $77.26-$112.23/hour

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
