Job Description
This is a benefited, part time position generally working 7:30am-4pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday every week. Shift times may vary based on need. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion on the Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla campus.

What you’ll do:
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
- Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to
surg ical patients in the hospital setting. - Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- Proficient in IV starts
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN
- 2-3+ years RN experience
- Cardiac and/or telemetry experience as an RN
