Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.
Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista provides a variety of medical and surgical services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Within the hospital you’ll find our 24-hour emergency room and many other specialty services ranging from cancer care to stroke care.
Job Description
This is a full-time, salaried leadership position based out of our Scripps Mercy campus in Chula Vista and will support and travel to both Mercy campuses including Hillcrest. This position is Monday-Friday and will require the flexibility to be on call weekends and evenings as needed.

The Manager of Engineering Operations is responsible for ensuring the site/facility is prepared for accreditation surveys. Ensures compliance with established standards for quality-of-service indicators, appearance, cleanliness, repair and condition of facility. Investigates delays on work orders, solves problems and ensures completion of work, initiating response to issues which require further action and follow up. Maintains integrity of all engineering programs, systems and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years experience in Facilities Services
- 2 years experience in a Supervisory/leadership role within healthcare.
- High school diploma/GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Experience within an acute care setting.
