Job Description
This is a full time, benefited position, generally working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm one week, then 8:30am-5pm the next. Shifts may run later if provider is running behind. Located at Scripps Clinic – Torrey Pines in La Jolla and may be required to commute to other sites as needed.

As a Clinic – RN in the Urology Department you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice — this includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures and messages, emergency protocols, and medication administration.
- Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Handing patient communication, including making calls to provide information, follow up on care, responding to messages, and triaging.
- Maintaining sterility during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Required Certification/Registration:
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN
- One year outpatient RN experience
- Previous Urology experience
- Experience placing Foley catheters
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adjust to changing patient needs
