Job Description
This position is Casual status/Per Diem with variable days M-F and is located in Rancho Bernardo. The shift is 8 hours and could start as early as 0630 or as late as 0900. We do not have a minimum availability for this schedule, but 1-2 days per week would be ideal. No weekends or holidays. There is the occasional late schedule which is similar to call but it is not overnight.

Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo Ambulatory Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care specializing in gynecologic procedures, eye procedures, pain management, urology, ENT, plastic surgery, GI and podiatry
We invite you to join our PACU recovery team where we see up to 50 cases per day. Within this role your function will be both Pre-Op and PACU providing exceptional patient care.
- Manage pre-op admissions and all surgery prep functions
- PACU recovery of patients through discharge.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients.
Required
- One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center or prior ICU experience.
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- 2 or more years in an ASC
