Job Description
This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley and the Anderson Medical Pavilion (AMP). This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Director level.

What you’ll do:
- Oversite of Primary Care at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley & the Anderson Medical Pavilion (AMP).
- Facilitate projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment while collaborating with leaders across the organization.
- Be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an outpatient patient care unit or departments, including financial and operational performance, service excellence, and internal communications.
- Work with the management staff of the practice unit and departments to coordinate strategic planning of business units and the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices and non-physician staff.
- Provide leadership and direction to managers, supervisors, and leads to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and superior internal and external customer service.
- Ad-hoc projects as needed.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Four years of direct management experience in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to effectively direct healthcare business and operational practices.
- Ability to develop long-term plans for healthcare operations.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Primary Care experience.
- Lean management experience.
