We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
Job Description
This is a Casual position (per diem) with a varied 10-hour shift, primarily covering on-call and graveyard shifts. You must be flexible throughout the week, weekends, and holidays. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Required Qualifications:
- One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- ARDMS or CCI
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARDMS (OB/GYN)
- ARDMS (AB)
- 1-2 years’ experience
