Job Description

This is a full time position located at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley. 

Performs patient assessments and technical skills to accurately assess the ophthalmic status of each patient, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control. Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.

Experience/Specialized Skills:Prefer minimum one year experience in optometry and in ophthalmology. Additional requirements vary according to specialty and duties performed in business unit.

Required Certification/Registration: Ophthalmic Technician Certificate preferred. Current BLS card required.

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:Completion of a certified Ophthalmic Technical program preferred.

Position Pay Range: $30.58-$44.41/hour
