Job Description

Along with performing as a staff LVN, the Clinical Lead (LVN) is responsible for;
- Providing technical support to Medical Assistant and LVN staff in a clinic site or physician module to include training, assurance of consistency and standardization of procedures, management of day-to-day staff coverage arrangements to ensure excellent patient care, staff performance management, and to serve as a mentor to staff.
- Covering multiple positions and departments, as well as mentoring new and existing staff on clinical processes and procedures.
- Review of new and existing staff documentation and charge documents for completion and accuracy.
- Practicing within the scope of a LVN and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.
Required:
- Current California LVN license.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Previous training experience and leadership skills.
- Experience in an outpatient setting.
