Job Description
This is a full-time position located at our Scripps Memorial campus in Encinitas. Must be available to work a Night shift of 1:30am-10:00am and varied schedule including weekends.

Great opportunity for a Food Service Partner to join our Encinitas Team. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served the growing communities of San Diego’s coastal North County since 1978. We are a community hospital with a friendly environment.
The Inventory Supply Coordinator, under the supervision of the food service management is responsible for procurement, receiving and inventory control of food and supplies. Develops and maintains par stock levels. Alerts the production and supervisory staff of items coming close to expiration date. Performs job functions to support Food Service operational systems safe food handling, food production, cafeteria, catering, customer service and department records and reports. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with JCAHO, Title XXII, HACCP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• One year purchasing experience in a food service operation.
• San Diego County Food Handler Card or able to pass food handlers test given by certified manager or designee.
• Obtains Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Purchasing experience in healthcare food service environment
