Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served North County’s coastal communities since 1978. We’re located at Santa Fe Drive and I-5, within walking distance of a park, fitness center, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

Job Description

This is a Full-Time (72 hrs/week) 12-hour Varied shift that may include weekends at Scripps Encinitas.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas serves the communities of San Diego’s coastal North County.  We offer a full range of clinical and surgical services, including North County’s first Primary Stroke Center, a regionally recognized brain injury program, state-of-the-art imaging center, 24-hour emergency room care and award-winning OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA
  • BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  •   2 years EMT experience
  • One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in emergency services
  • EMT certification

Position Pay Range: $24.91-$31.45/hour

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
