Job Description
This is a full time 12 hour day shift position at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla. New to Cardiac with current surgical tech experience.

Who are we looking for:
· A candidate with or without Cardiac experience with a strong interest in Cardiac procedures.
· A well rounded surg tech with previous experience who wants to learn and perform with our Cardiac team
*$4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation Incentive if moving from 100+ miles.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience
- CST Certification
- Serious interest in Cardiac surgeries
