Job Description
This is a Full time, benefitted position located at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines. This role has a varied 8 hour shift, and call is required.

Responsible for assisting in the performance of Endoscopy procedures within scope of practice and under direct supervision of Registered Nurse/Physician. Prepares patients for assessment, procedure, and post-op observation as per standards of patient care and specific procedure to be performed. Conducts manual cleaning of endoscopes per manufacturing guidelines and/or Infection Control Flexible Endoscopy program.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Required Certification/Registration: BLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: EMT or CNA. S.G.N.A. Associates Program-GI Technical Specialist Certification Previous procedural technical experience.
