As Manager, Risk Management/Patient Relations, your scope will include:
· Manages monitoring of the Occurrence Reporting system to include follow-up on unusual events and facilitates process improvement.
· Manages and develops processes to minimize risk.
· Responsible and accountable for the risk management services.
· Provides claim management to include risk identification and reduction and claims monitoring.
· Reviews medical records for liability issues.
· Manages team of patient relation specialist and clinical risk specialist.
· Consults and participates in investigations related to risk management.
· Provides consultation to administration, medical staff, committees, and managers on issues regarding risk management.
