Job Description
This is a benefited, full time position generally working 8am-5pm but shifts may vary based on assignment. Required to float to any Scripps Clinic based on assignment. Due to travelling nature of this position, you’ll receive a differential while on this team.

- Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports all Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego. These are outpatient facilities.
- As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments providing critical coverage for employees’ leave of absences and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.
- Be flexible, open to floating, & confident in your abilities when given a short orientation to jumping right in to help!
What you’ll do:
- Shifts and locations will vary at the clinics throughout San Diego.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
- Assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care
- Evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- 18 months of recent RN experience, 1 of which in an Outpatient, Clinic or Ambulatory care environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Required Certification/Registration:
- CA RN license
- BLS through American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN
- EPIC experience
- 2+ years in outpatient setting – ED ok but prefer other outpatient settings
- Experience with 2 providers with 15+ patients per day
Travel Requirements:
- Work between Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego
