Join Our Float Pool Team of Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) where you will provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team. PCAs assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment. They assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician and supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to gain exposure to up to 7 different departments in a float pool environment. Here you will have a unique opportunity to work with individuals in different department atmospheres with differing patient populations. Patient ratios range from 7:1 to 8:1. Primary assigned tasks will include working as a sitter in patient care and working on the floor to assist patients with walking, washing, and assorted needs while providing exceptional patient care. Requirements
Position Pay Range: $24.46-$29.84/hour
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
