Job Description
This is a Casual/Per-Diem position with 6-8 hour day shifts, typically Monday-Saturdays. Position does not require Sundays or holidays.
This position will be covering Screen Green Hospital but may cover other sites as needed.

We invite you to join our Diabetes Educators team as a Diabetes Educator II.
As a Diabetes Educator II, you will provide diabetes-specific clinical, educational, and/or research services in a variety of settings. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, community, and/or research programs.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- For RNs, a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- A minimum of two years providing diabetes education as an RN or RD required.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Certified Diabetes Educator certification required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of California as an RN or current RD registration.
