Job Description
This is a full time, benefited, exempt position generally working regular business hours. Located at the Ximed Building on Scripps Memorial La Jolla Campus. Participates in the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Manager level.

Your job duties:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the patient care units or departments in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Contributes to strategic planning of business units.
- Coordinates the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices.
- Provides leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal and external customer service.
- Responsible for entire scope of department/location, including facilities management, where appropriate.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- High school diploma plus five years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment and two years of leadership experience.
- Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other applicable systems.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree.
