Job Description
This is a full time 12 hour varied day shift (M-Sa) position at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla.

Join us as an EP/Cath Lab Recovery RN where you will:
· Prep/pre-op patients going into a Cath lab/EP lab or CVOR procedure.
· Recover patients having either moderate sedation or general anesthesia and returning from Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures as well as CVOR procedures.
· Assist in noninvasive procedures such as:
o TEE/CV
o Loop implants
o TILT Table Testing
· Manage vascular access sites with close monitoring in the post-procedure arena
· Management of radial bands and Femostops
· Pull venous and Arterial Sheaths
· Titrate vasoactive gtts
Required:
- Current CA RN License
- One (1) year of PCU, ICU, Procedural IR or Cathlab, or PACU experience.
- BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have experience with radial bands, groin management, and Femostops
- Must have experience with care of the critical cardiac patient and care of the post cardiac surgical/procedure patient
Preferred:
- Prep and Recovery experience
- Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
