Job Description
Operating Room Charge RN – Full-Time (Night Shift)
Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla
This is a full-time, benefited, 12-hour night shift position. We are looking for an experienced OR RN because this role includes charge RN responsibilities. This position is eligible for a New Hire Bonus of $4K and $3K Relocation Assistance.

Our OR department features 16 operating rooms, including 4 open-heart suites, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 robotic rooms, 1 eye room, and a dedicated trauma team. We perform 40-50 surgeries daily, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and professional development.

- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:
- · California Registered Nurse License
- One year of RN experience in the Operating Room or successful completion of Scripps’ peri-operative training program or an approved external peri- operative training program
- · Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
- · Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- · Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
- · Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred
- · Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Charge OR RN experience is strongly preferred
- · Experience in general, robotics, trauma, orthopedic and gynecological surgeries
- · Trauma experience
- · CNOR
