Job Description
This is a full-time position at Scripps Rancho Bernardo Clinic with 10-hour shifts M-F. Call required. Late call- 6 shifts every 6 weeks

The Surgical Tech will:
- ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.
- Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.
- Surgery cases; ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Pain, GI and Podiatry
Required:
- One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
- Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
· Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Preferred:
· CST
· 2+ years’ experience
