Job Description
This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Supervisor level.

What you’ll do:
- Oversees & manages daily staffing for assigned clinic operations for 20+ direct reports.
- Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.
- Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff, including managing daily staffing plans.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency.
- Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.
- Management and development of clinical staff.
- Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s).
- Participates in budget planning and management.
- Takes proactive initiative in quality management
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Associates degree plus two years applicable clinical experience.
- Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
- Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Maintains current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN and/or certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.
- Outpatient experience.
- Leadership experience.
