Job Description
This is a full-time, fully benefitted position located at our Scripps Green campus in the Torrey Pines area. Must be able to work a Day shift of 6am-2:30pm and a varied schedule including weekends.

The Lead, Environmental Services will be the shift lead and primary contact for the day shift staff. Performs job functions to support environmental care: Patient Care area cleaning, Non-Patient Care area cleaning, Linen Service, Waste Removal, Sharps container removal, Meeting/Event set-up/breakdown, and Infection Control/Sanitation. Primarily responsible for lead duties such as staff scheduling, training, supervising and monitoring for quality assurance while utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of EVS Housekeeping experience in healthcare.
- Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service
