Role Overview:
This role will concentrate on the implementation, planning, and coordination of major initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team. The role will be helping to assess and guide the strategic direction for Scripps Health. Interface with executive leadership and operations to ensure that strategic initiatives are successful. You will get to work with incredibly talented folks on meaningful important work that is shaping the future of a $4B organization and how healthcare is delivered in San Diego.
Lead the program management of strategic and planning initiatives, ensuring their successful creation and deployment. Collaborate closely with the Chief Strategy Officer to design and implement time-bound strategies with comprehensive stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of approved strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to develop and execute strategic plans, incorporating input from key stakeholders.
- Implementation Methodologies: Work with organizational stakeholders to identify and refine methodologies that ensure the effective operational deployment of initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with leaders and staff to facilitate the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Feedback and Communication: Develop and maintain effective channels for feedback and communication, contributing to the continuous improvement of strategic planning processes.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in management engineering, project management, consulting, and/or analysis.
- Skills: Proven experience in leading and facilitating work teams. Exceptional facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong ability to conduct and interpret both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency with MS Office suite.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare sector.
- Skills: Comprehensive understanding of management engineering, project management, process redesign, change management, and/or continuous quality improvement methodologies and tools.
