The Risk & Insurance Analyst provides comprehensive support in risk and insurance issues for the Director of Risk and Insurance. This position supports the Director of Risk and Insurance in managing all insurance programs, related compliance issues, and claims. Responsibilities include supervision of all aspects of claims administration; managing the process of certificates of insurance; and the compilation of the specifications required for insurance renewals as well as detailed policy/contract review. This position will also provide assistance to the department as requested by management.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years experience or educational equivalent in risk, claims or insurance related services.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, adobe, and excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail orientated, attention to accuracy is critical, work independently with the ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or with minimal direction, computer experience, pleasant, cooperative style, effective oral, written and listening skills, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.
