Through collaboration and innovation, our Web Product Manager professionals lead the frontier in providing oversight and operations support of our portals.  As Web Product Manager, you will be doing portal management for Scripps Health and working in a fast growing and supportive environment. 
As Web Product Manager, you will be accountable for the daily oversight and operations of one or more portals. You’ll be responsibilities include establishing strategies and objectives to promote the portals, conduct market research studies as part of product design, gathering user requirements and developing ease of use in product design. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality user experience, user functionality, enhancements, design, and content align with corporate strategies.
Additionally, you will provide product strategy information to a project manager and/or development team for all web product developments and enhancements. Provide team and project implementation guidance. Lead diverse and broad group of stakeholders from across the enterprise to regularly develop, review, approve and publish content and graphic elements. Ensure portals are maintained and available by ensuring content is up-to-date, overseeing upgrades and functionality improvements, and monitoring the portals to ensure availability and security of the site. Oversee the design, creation, implementation, and maintenance of web pages within the standard Scripps framework and branding guidelines. Coordinate client requests on an on-going basis and ensures that all activities are performed at a level of quality consistent with department standards. Monitor, analyze, and regularly report on website-usage statistics.
This is a Full Time Mon-Fri position location in La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of the web development process, including requirements gathering, information architecture, creative design, content management principles, development tools and technologies, usability testing, and deployment management.
  • Proven experience working with a time-accountable environment and under budgetary constraints.
  • Experience in problem resolution, complaint management, and service requests.
  • Thorough understanding of web technologies and trends.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization techniques, keyword research and site search optimization.
  • Experience managing successful web initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple projects and tight timelines.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with team and all levels of stakeholders, outside contractors and business partners.
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to articulate web concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
  • Familiarity with search functionality, metadata, and classifications.
  • Familiarity with web traffic analysis and reporting applications.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS environment. Proficient PC-based skills using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) Skilled in graphic creation and photo editing using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with Vendor relationship management.
  • Epic EMR integration experience preferred.
