Join our team as an RN Trauma Team Leader to provide and ensure optimal care for the injured patient during the resuscitation and diagnostic phases of care. Acts as a representative of the Trauma Service, ensuring that patient care is conducted within practice guidelines approved by the hospital, trauma service, and County. Provides appropriate nursing interventions as required. Utilizes critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills. Participates in the coordination and direction of care for the trauma patient, from resuscitation through the diagnostic phases of care. Assures appropriate resources are available for the resuscitation phase of care. Acts as a clinical resource to nursing and ancillary staff for trauma patients throughout the care continuum, promoting and demonstrating an advanced level of nursing care for complex, critically ill patients.
This is a Part-time .3 Non-benefited position 12 hour NIGHT shift

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program 
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
  • Ability to obtain a TNCC or ATCN provider within one year
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • (2) years trauma experience
  • Certification in specialty area (CEN, CCRN, CNRN)
