This is the ideal position for someone with a passion for people and service.  An expert critical thinker with the ability to drive for results.  As Talent Advisor will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.  You will guide the hiring manager through the selection process to ensure a quality hire and function as a strategic business partner with leadership on all Talent Management related issues including the development of effective attraction, selection and talent engagement strategies.  You’ll collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that ensure appropriate Talent/staffing resources across the system.
 
Play in integral role in providing operational analysis, trending, benchmarking and research to support leadership in doing effective staffing projections.  You will execute offer strategies with hiring managers to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of compensation practices.  Represent Scripps at career events, conferences, and community job fairs promoting career opportunities for the organization.
 
This is a Full time - Salaried position located in La Jolla.

Job Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Three years' experience in recruiting/human resources or appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing innovative shortlisting, screening, and recruitment tools and techniques to recruit quality candidates.
  • Knowledge, experience and training in utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies (i.e. – behavioral based interviewing) for candidate selection or related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, establish service level agreements and meets and exceed customer expectations. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving. Ability to effectively build rapport and relationships via the phone.
  • Basic office automation computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint.   
  • Experience with applicant tracking, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • RACR Certification highly preferred.
