Job Description

Oversees , coordinates and supervises the operation of Food and Nutrition Services Ensures compliance with Food Safety requirements. Ensures standards of customer service, infection control/sanitation, safe food handling, volume food production, menu development, meal assembly, portion control, inventory management, and food service equipment are met.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:High school diploma or equivalent plus three years experience in food services, one of which with leadership responsibilities. Able to speak, read and write English. Good customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Complex problem solving, team development, strategic planning and systems planning/development. Knowledge of computer word processing and spreadsheets.

Required Certification/Registration: Food Safety Certificate (ServSafe or equivalent).

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:Associate or Bachelors degree in related field. Supervisory experience. Dietary Services Supervisor or Certified Dietary Manager certification.
