As Supervisor, Clinic Operations RN, you will manage daily staffing for assigned clinic operations which include staff of 25 to include MAs, Specialized Services RNs, Biofeedback acupuncture and research.  You will support 7 providers while ensuring nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety. Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff, including managing daily staffing plans.


Be responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency. Work in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care. Take a lead in the management and development of clinical staff.


Additionally, you will contribute to operations management of assigned business unit. Participate in budget planning and management. Take proactive initiative in quality management


This is a Full Time, Salaried Supervisor RN position located in La Jolla.


Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 
  • Associates degree plus two years applicable clinical experience.
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
  • Graduate of an accredited program.

Required Certification/Registration:
  • Maintains current California RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and all competencies/certifications required for the highest level RN under their direction.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • BSN and/or certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.
  • Previous experience in Cardiology.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Epic working experience preferred.
