Job Description

Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of a department. Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership. Ensures effective use of system resources. Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities. Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule. Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff.
Please note: This position may require unexpected weekday activities beyond normal working hours, occasional Sat/Sun hours, and other unanticipated temporary changes.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:High school diploma plus three years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of scheduling & billing systems. Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, train and evaluate staff. Knowledge of healthcare business and operational practices. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other applicable systems.

Required Certification/Registration:

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:Bachelor's Degree.
