As Supervisor, Clinic Ops – LVN, you will manage daily staffing for assigned clinic operations. You will ensure nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.  Play an integral role in ensuring the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care to include active participation of staff in planning and coordinating all aspects of patient experience, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.
 
Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, you will share leadership responsibilities for assigned staff (LVNs and MAs), including managing daily staffing plans. Be responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency. Work in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care. Management and development of staff. Contribute to operations management of assigned business unit(s) including facility needs, coverage across assigned sites, and continuum of patient experience. Participate in budget planning and management. Take proactive initiative in quality management.
 
This is a Full Time, Salaried Supervisor position located at Torrey Pines.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 
  • Graduate of an accredited LVN program
  • Two years applicable clinical experience.
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.

Required Certification/Registration: 
  • Maintains current California LVN license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.
  • Five years’ experience in multi-specialty clinic or primary care clinic strongly preferred.
  • Relevant experience leading teams preferred.
  • EPIC working experience preferred.
