We invite you to our Scripps Transfer Center where we facilitate admissions and coordinate transfers into the Scripps System through communication between area hospitals, services, facilities, departments and physicians to ensure successful and safe patient transfer results.

Join our Scripps Central Transfer Center team as a Supervisor. You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting operations of a 24/7 transfer and bed placement center for a 5 hospital system. Super user of all bed placement and transfer software application systems. Real time problem solving and trend analysis related to transfer or bed placement issues. Manage schedule and ensure appropriate clinical and clerical staffing.



This is a full-time, salaried position. The Supervisor will work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekend coverage as needed.




Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:


  • 5 years acute care experience
  • Current CA RN license


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:


  • BSN preferred.
  • EPIC Grand Central
  • Critical care experience, case management experience, supervisory experience, bed placement/throughput experience, super-level experience with Microsoft Suites and other health system applications, and experience with data analytic processes.
